Fisher House Connecticut

Fisher House Connecticut provides, free of charge, high quality, temporary lodging to military and veterans’ families and caregivers during in-patient treatment or extended, episodic outpatient treatment through the VA. These homes are located at military and VA medical centers around the world with the Connecticut house located in West Haven.


Community Health Resources (CHR) provides a range of personalized behavioral healthcare services for people of all ages whose lives have been touched by depression, anxiety, addiction, trauma and more. For your convenience and safety, care is available via telehealth or in-person appointments, in locations throughout central and eastern CT. In addition, CHR recently launched a FREE Hero Hotline, 888-217-HERO, to provide immediate coaching and guidance to anyone who is experiencing stress during the pandemic.
