  • Cardio Health

  • Muscle Tone

  • Flexibility

  • Balance

  • Range of Motion

  • Posture

The idea is to take baby steps to a healthy body that looks and feels better. The motivation behind this first journey came directly from our Managing Director Kim:

“As a business owner and a mom, I find myself continuously struggling with the balancing act of doing all the things that need to be done, taking care of the people I love, and taking care of myself. I have found that there isn’t much time left for the latter. As an executive in the dance industry for over 25 years, it has been decades since I actually danced, but I have never lost the love of dance, the understanding of the health benefits, nor the desire to dance for stress relief, and as a creative outlet. I am so excited to share my journey with anyone and everyone who would like to join me. Let’s become better versions of ourselves over the next 90 days. As we begin to feel better and look better, we may surprise ourselves on what we do next. Take time, put yourself first, and come dance with me! ”

What do I need to know before I get started to Maximize My Success?

We recommend that you take a quick personal assessment of your current health and fitness level. This is for you alone, unless you are thrilled with your Re-Inventing ME results, and want to share it with us in our Member Spotlight. We’d LOVE to feature an article about you and your successful story at the end of your journey. No pressure, but if you would like to share your experience in our Member Spotlight please email for more information. And, no worries if you prefer to remain anonymous, this is about you and totally for you, so you do you!

  • Privately, notate your weight.

  • Take a before Re-Inventing ME picture.

  • Do a quick journal entry about your current energy level, range of motion, and any aches and pains that you may have.

  • If you have any specific concerns, please contact your doctor prior to beginning as you would do for any new fitness regimen.

Once you start your journey, we recommend that you only re-assess your weight and any other measurements at the end of each 30 day period. Stay focused on the good feelings and your overall health – which starts with your movement. Give your body a chance to catch up!

Take 4 classes per week. They are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 6:00 a.m. If you cannot make it, schedule it onto your calendar on a day and time that works for you and take the archive version of that particular class. We recommend that you take the classes in order because they alternate cardio and toning, and are designed to become more difficult.

In addition, to the four Re-Inventing ME specific classes, you will need to log onto MBBD for one additional 15 minute Mobility class with Amanda. You can take this any day and at any time. Amanda has three levels of Mobility classes in the Programs section of the MBBD website. Start at Level One and work your way through the classes. The idea is to repeat Level One classes for the first 30 days, then move onto Level Two, and so on.

Modify and go at your own pace! Each class will offer versions of each element used. For example, if the Triple Step in Swing is too difficult for you, the class will offer you a modification of that step. If you feel like leveling up at any time you can do the harder version of the material that will be provided in the class. There is no equipment necessary for participation. We do recommend that you have a chair, counter, or something to hold onto for the balance moves. The idea is to increase balance so at the beginning of the 90 days, holding onto something may be necessary. Additionally, try and set yourself up in a Zen place in your house where you won’t be interrupted and can truly dance like no one is watching! It is possible to cast the video from your phone to your television as well as directly hooking up. It is a better experience for you if you can see and hear the instructor. There is information on how to do this in our FAQ, and for the best start, work on your set up the day before you try to take your first class. As always, you can reach out to for help.
