Toning Workouts To Achieve That Dancer’s Body
Our goal at MBBD is for you to have a dancer’s experience.  This brings all the benefits that come from the physical activity of dancing itself.  The endorphins that kick in from moving your body with intensity, the release of emotion that comes through the expressive nature of dancing, the change of perspective that comes from how you will feel about yourself and of course, the physical improvements that you gain from exercising. You’ll feel better from head to toe – truly a total body workout!
Strength Training Without Weights
One noticeable area of improvement will be the leanness of your body and the muscle definition and shape.  This musculature is specifically created from toning exercises.  It is one thing to do planks or squats in an effort to work your muscles, but that is just what that is – work!Â
Dancing is different.  As you move to music your association will be with a relaxing enjoyable activity, not with an arduous workout.  Don’t be fooled, just because it doesn’t feel like work, doesn’t mean it isn’t working. But the muscle tone and weight loss you experience will be worth every bead of sweat.
Dancer Tips
Our dance fitness classes are designed to use repetitive movements to provide a full body toning experience.  The better you dance technically, the greater the toning benefit.  Take a variety of classes, and as often as possible take coaching sessions from our Dancer Tips.  Each of the Elements represents material that we use in our classes and in the Dancer Tips section our instructors break the step pattern and the technique down so that you can do your best performance of each.   Â
