Not a Dancer yet? Prepare For Your Online Dance Workouts
Our Dancer Tips section is a great workout and will break down all the dance moves so that you feel totally prepared for every dance fitness class. Every Element is a little coaching session in technique and movement for our core dance styles.
Our vitality classes are also done at a bit of a slower speed. This allows you to get started building your movements, as well as your balance, flexibility, range of motion, and muscle engagement. Our approach is much like you would learn from an instructor in a dance studio. You can then progress to a full body cardio workout in no time!
You Can Dance!
We truly believe that everyone can be a dancer! And, IS a dancer naturally from birth. We all grow into our inhibition that makes us feel self conscious and embarrassed to dance. My Body By Dance has a couple of really important things to help you with that.
First, you are by yourself, at home, so dance like no one is watching – because no one is!
And, second, when you are comparing yourself to a dancer, or criticizing your own ability, realize that the fluid, rhythmical and balanced movements of a dancer represent the number of hours they have had on the dance floor. Think about how effortlessly you drive your car, or brush your teeth, or walk. Now, picture yourself on your very first day behind the wheel of a car. There is a dramatic difference between learning the mechanics of a new skill, and achieving muscle memory of physical movement.
