Warm Up Before Your Favorite Online Exercise Classes
Warming up and Cooling down your muscles is important for your body and for your mind. Warm up exercises prepare you for physical activity by raising your heart rate and body temperature gradually prior to intense aerobic training. This makes it safer on your body to tackle your exercises.
The same is true for when you have completed your physical activity. After high intensity cardio and strength training it is important to gradually bring down your heart rate and body temperature. According to the American Heart Association, stopping too quickly could lead to feeling sick or passing out.
All of our workout classes and live streams have built in Warm Up’s and Cool Down’s, but we have also included all of these relaxing movements separately. If you are feeling sore, or not up to the daily burn of a full body workout, then maybe that is a day just to take some of our Warm Up and Cool Down movements and incorporate them into the beginning and/or the end of your day.
These movements will help you to breathe in the good dancing vibes and release the stress and negativity of your day. Over time these movements are also designed to improve your balance, coordination, flexibility and range of motion.

So take a few minutes every day, whether you’re streaming classes or not, and find a quiet place in your bedroom, living room, back porch or wherever you feel most comfortable to prepare your mind and body with warm up and cool down exercises.
